NEW GOOGLE APPS LAUNCHER

Have you noticed something a little different about your Google account recently?  Did you notice that the "black bar" collection of all your favorite Google apps has been replaced with new App Launcher navigation menu.

The App Launcher is found in the top-right corner of your screen. In the App Launcher, you will find everything that was previously on the "black bar" and houses everything that you could previously access from the black bar. If you click on the "More" button you can access more apps and also "Even More Apps".

Fear Not --- There is an easy way to customize your App Launcher.  Get this app Apps Launcher Customizer for Google.

If you don't like using the Apps Launcher, you could set your favorite apps on your bookmarks bar or set your favorite apps to open as specific pages.  To set as specific pages, follow these steps:

  1. Open all the apps or web pages you want to open each time you open Chrome
  2. Go to the Chrome Settings (top right corner of Chrome)
  3. Click Settings
  4. On Startup - Click Open a specific page or set of pages
  5. Set pages
If you can't see all your apps when you click on the App Launcher, you may have to sign out and then back into your Google Apps account.
