I don't know about you, but I can't ever seem to figure out where in the world I left my phone last. If find myself spending too much time looking for where I placed it last. Well now it's Google to the rescue. Google already has within the Android the device manager that helps you find your lost phone and tablet. However, you can also use FIND MY PHONE.
You can use your laptop to simply open the Google omnibox and key "FIND MY PHONE" to display a map that reveals the phones current location. Find My Phone does not let you lock or erase your device if it is stolen.
