PREVENT OTHERS FROM DOWNLOADING, COPYING OR PRINTING YOUR GOOGLE DOCS

Sometimes you just don't want to share your files in your Google Drive.. Until now, if someone wanted to make a copy of one of your Google files it was as simple as going to File/Make a Copy. Many users of Google Drive have been waiting for a long time to have the option to disable downloading, copying and printing of Google files. This option is great for when a file you are sharing contains sensitive information that you might not want shared. The new changes are available for any file stored in Google drive, including documents, spreadsheets, and presentations created with Google Docs.

To make sure that someone does not download, copy, or print your doc, click the share button and click Advanced in the lower right hand corner. Check the "Disable options to download, print, and copy for commenters and viewers box and click Save changes.
Of course, there will always be a way around this feature. Even with the options turned on, you could still take a picture of the document and then print or share that picture.
