WHAT'S NEW IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM?

Google has listened to all of our suggestions.  You can finally bump or move posts to where you want them. You can also set optional due dates.  If you have a long-term project, you will now have the option to create assignments with no due dates.  Do you use Google Forms? In the next few weeks, you will be able to attach Google Forms from Drive to posts and assignments and get a link in Classroom to easily view the answers.

Many of the Google products such as docs, sheets, slides now have a plus icon in the bottom right hand corner to add a new email or document. Clicking the plus icon in Google Classroom displays 4 options: Reuse post, create question, create assignment, or create announcement.

More that's new . . .  You can post questions and allow students to have discussions by responding to each other's answers. You can post a video and then ask students to answer a question about it. Try posting an article and ask students to write a paragraph pertaining to the article.
